I’m a truck driver and decided to go bar hoping with a friend that lives in Texas City we ended up there and had an excellent time. Good crowd and excellent service. Waitress was very nice to strangers.
Sammy Jo makes you feel right at home and even provides you a huggy for your beer. Everyone is very friendly. Out of towner and made me feel like a local. If you're in the area stop and see these folks they'll make you feel welcome.
Great little bar! ALWAYS a great place to stop in and play live music. They're very willing to cut out an area for me inside where I can set up and jam. The tips are great and the crowd is fantastic! Met some great new friends here, and gained many new connections.
