We stopped at Little Taste of Heaven based on the Google reviews. Actually drove ten miles out of our way. We were not disappointed. Five stars plus. Decor is nothing fancy, but the food is excellent, service down home friendly, and prices very reasonable for the amount of food.Green beans were mixed with corn and some bacon. Sausage was mixed with the cabbage. Mac and cheese was very tasty and the chicken fried chicken had a very crispy coating. All very yummy.

The atmosphere, the people, and the food are wonderful!!! We had the seafood boil and gumbo. Some of the best we've had anywhere. Can't wait for our next trip up to Hillsboro and visit again.

This place here was truly a blessing. This establishment A Little Taste of Heaven blessed my family and I real good. Our event was celebrating another year God loaned to life my mother in law by having a birthday lunch here. Excellent food, excellent service. The owner even sung Happy Birthday to my mother in law. Amazing food. The meatloaf is absolutely to die for. We stopped in just driving through town and happened to pick it. Order meatloaf and left with three plates to go for may family at home for dinner. Seriously great food. The Tea is great. Brought my husband back thatbsaturday and had the fish Smith coleslaw. Seriously could have justvetlaten the slaw and been happy. This is the best place we have eaten in a very long time.

I took a drive from Arlington to Itasca. Googled restaurants near me and it lead me to Little Taste of Heaven in Hillsboro. Had the most delicious seafood gumbo and crab cakes ever! Topped it off with peach-blackberry cobbler a la mode. Made my day. Owners are good Christian people and make you feel right at home. Will definitely stop in again when close to Hillsboro ?

If you're driving down I-35 and looking for slammin down home cooking on your way North toward Dallas / Fort Worth or South headed to Waco / Austin - you MUST and I repeat MUST stop by ALToH!! You won't be disappointed. Billy the owner is very personable and the food speaks for itself. I love foodie spots like this ...a little "hole in the wall" are (IMO) the best places of all. It'll take you about 5-7 min off the major highway but it's so with it!!! Chicken Fried Catfish, cornbread, Mac & cheese, greens and beans were all amazing!! Hope you get to try. We will definitely be back - maybe even tomorrow on Seafood Saturday!!

My husband and I found this quaint little restaurant in the heart of downtown Hillsboro- the food was good southern cooking and the owner was a joy to talk with. We ordered The Almighty...and it was! A baked potato stacked skyhigh with bbq- ribs, sausages , and all the baked potato fixins along with mac n cheese, collard greens and melt in your mouth cornbread. This place was packed full of Jesus and good food!
