Food took forever to get to my table. Waitress was horrible. Didn't check on me at all. Left things off my order. Service deserves a negative star.

First off the food is nasty and cold half the time they are out of stuff. servers seem to not be treated correctly, witnessed a server being talked to with disrespect for something they apparently “put in wrong” as I was sitting at there breakfast bar, but seemed like the women ( from the back I guess the cook) came out and was on her phone. Seems like management or whoever was in the back talking to her that way isn’t great. Place used to be good before Covid hit.no salad bar no good food at all.been to other TA country prides and this is the slowest one I have see. Portions are very small and overpriced, when you ask for extra gravy ( when they barley put anything on the cfs anyways) they charge 2$ more, for a smalllll very small portion of gravy. Maybe if they would put a decent amount of gravy on top I wouldn’t need to ask for more, never been to a place that gives you so little gravy and charges you for a small portion of gravy, I understand 60 cents but 2$&??

Sad they closed at 7. Husband and I drive and really looked forward to having a good home cooked meal, other than in the truck. Might want to reconsider hours of operation.

There are some places that become your favorite go to's.For me and my husband that has become Country Pride Restaurant. With delicious Coffee, Build your own Omelet andthe best pancakes you ever had this diner is a must try on your list if passing through or staying a while in Hillsboro Tx.As well as a delicious hearty breakfast, you should try the grilled Jalapenos and the lovely fluffy biscuits and gravy!Delicious! You won't get bored while waiting for your order you can read the brainy quotes from the great Cowboys and great minds of the olden days printed right on the booths you are sitting in. The restaurant is classically designed with a railroad theme displaying retroblack and white pics of different railroad companies. It is adorable. To top it off, there is a waitress who is the best of any we have had. She makes our visitsmemorable. She is the best and I hope she knows we appreciate her. She works the day shift. Thanks Country Pride, You guys do Truck StopCuisine the right way!

TA prices in general are waaaayyyyyy overpriced I get “inflation”, but TA is highway robbery. That said, the staff at this country pride was very friendly, and made sure I was attended too. Good experience, and my food was good.

I’d give it 0⭐️… 11.99$ for A few pieces of chicken on chips & cheese dip unexceptable no lettuce, tomato, avocado for that price. It looked gross & the chicken was small & unnoticeable in the cheese. Menu had 10 or so items on it.We left shortly after that.Burger King 15$ for a combo don’t think so either. For two of us over 30$ for Burger King hell no.

This place is a hidden gem. My coworkers and I planned this gas station as a stop since it had truck parking.First off, I love that they have $10 specials on their menu. I wasn't hungry but know I had to eat so I wanted something light. I opted for their vegetable omelette and it came with coffee as well. I enjoyed it a lot! You also wouldn't be able to find a lot of places with prices like that.I also got their apple cinnamon roll up and I'm telling you! Get it!!! It was so delicious. I don't even know what kind of ice cream their serve it with but it is so good, I would actually drive my husband there just for this dessert! Also, a shoutout to their server. I forget her name but she was very sweet!
