Went in a little bit ago and got the all you can eat fish dinner when my husband asked for more fries we was informed it is only the fish the manager started yelling making a scene when we brought up the fact that a hands full of fries is cheaper and saves them money on the fish she looked taken back and just yelled that if she did it for us she would have to for everyone and walked off so rude and unprofessional I haven’t been back and will not go back

Ordered steak and eggs , Medium Rare, came well done . The rest of meal was good , but the problem was the cook’s attitude! He apparently can’t cook a steak and when the server returned it , they were “ suddenly “ out of sirloins and gave her a hard time about bringing it back and said to tell me I can have this one back or do without! She came back and apologized saying he has had a bad attitude all week! Won’t ever go back!

Everyone was very friendly, the Chicken Fried Steak, potatos, and Okra was all excellent. Texas sized Ice Tea was perfect.I would have had desert, but I am too full. Deserts look yummy.

Had breakfast done the way we ordered. Over medium and over easy came out that way. Great biscuit with mine. I guess I was expecting too much to get true sausage gravy where the pan scraping make the Gravy. Packaged Gravy with pieces of sausage added just isn't sauage Gravy in the country.

Friendly family place! Service was great! Food was good. The rolls, french fries and the chicken and dressing was yummy! My hubby had the chicken fried steak breakfast and he said the biscuits were so fluffy! Salad bar lettuce and pasta salad could have been fresher. Overall the experience was great! The next time we're passing through, we will definitely visit again!
I have had the chicken fried steak and it is great and the all you can eat catfish is awesome as well..

The food was excellent. Chicken fried steak and gravy, mashed taters and fried okra, peas, Mac n cheese all good. Good portions, homemade desserts also good. Pie could have been warmed. Sweet tea was outstanding. Lovely old rehabbed building. Will go back, soon I hope

Best restaurant in Hillsboro!!! Food is ALWAYS great! Service is too! Parking full in front, just drive to the back...large lot. Front and back exits. You will be pleasingly surprised. I would recommend a dish, but they're all good! Enjoy!!!
