The BEST BBQ by great people! I have personally used them for catering to large businesses events and they were second to none not only in the quality of the food but speedy service to large crowds. Recently ordered bbq for 4th of July family gathering and everyone raved about the meal.

I was at an event where Tony was set up and his food was amazing! I had the trash bowl and there was so much food!!! There was no way I could eat it all. It was very good! Thank you Tony! I hope to see you next year at the Hillsboro Youth Revival!

Tony's Backyard BBQ was an absolute hit at the grand opening of Bearded Wheat Distillery! Their food was incredible—perfectly smoked, full of flavor, and served with great hospitality. You can tell they put a lot of passion into their craft. I highly recommend them to anyone looking for top-notch BBQ. Looking forward to enjoying their food again soon!

BBQ is decent (not great), but they are only open for a cpl hours a day, 2-3 days a week. They claim quality blah blah blah but the quality is average. Unless you are jobless or 80 yrs old, they probably won't be open for you to try anyway. I have since found 2 different local BBQ places with better hours and food!
The owner was super personable and understanding. And the food great!!!! Follow you nose and it'll lead you here.

Tony’s is the best BBQ!! He and his wife give great customer service! Big portions. With Bucees open in Hillsboro now, I stop for fuel and I laugh at people buying bbq sandwiches at Bucees for $13 when they can get an entire meal for that at Tony’s! I drive 30 minutes to get takeout from Tony’s! And I always buy extra to have some leftovers for lunch during the week. Good variety of sides and dishes and he does what he can to make requests. He also caters, and offer family size meals by ordering in advance, a real lifesaver for holidays!
The absolutely best BBQ in central TX. They are not stingy with the portion sizes and the price is more than fair for the food that is so tender it melts in your mouth. The only problem I have is that I gotta drive 30mins away to get to him but its ALWAYS worth the drive everytime. Customer service is always on point from everyone not just tony. The longest I had to wait on a busy day for my meal was 10mins.

Tony's is excellent! My favorite is the smash burger and chopped brisket sandwich! Heather is wonderful and they treat you like family! Today I tried the turkey ham bacon club. HOLY MOLY FANTASTIC! This sammich is stuffed with meat, creamy avocado and great tasting sauce! You need this club in your life!

After months of following y’all on Facebook, my fiancé and I finally came to try it! We ordered 2 chopped brisket sandwiches and 2 bombs. The sandwiches were HUGE! We got full off just those but we pushed on through to try the bombs. Also really big and spicy!!! Everything was super flavorful. The meat was nice and tender and the bbq sauce has a nice kick. We will definitely be coming back!! Might even have to book y’all for wedding catering eventually :) 10/10 all around.
