Visited right after Hurricane Beryl. They were still without power. We stopped by to have a drink before meeting my husband across the street at Backdoor. We got a beer a cocktail. The credit card machine was down atm, but the barmaid was nice enough to give us the drinks till the mgr showed up to get the machine working.
The ambiance was typical of a dive bar, I loved it! No slick plastic everywhere, the only pickles you'll be playing here are in a giant glass jar on the bar. You can play pool, darts, I believe I even saw a pinball machine. If you don't know what these things are you don't belong here. The only reason I can't give them 5 stars is they allow smoking inside. After losing four family members to lung cancer due to smoking, and having asthma myself I just can't be around it. I don't want anyone else to die. Sorry. Otherwise please visit, they are b@d@$$ and a Waller jem.
