This restaurant was a 10/10. Passing through town while on vacation googled catfish restaurants and this place was a hit. Our daughter said it was the best catfish shes ever ate and the mac n cheese was delicious. We tried fried catfish, fried / grilled shrimp and the grilled catfish plate. Everything was seasoned perfectly! We will definitely be back.

If you ever find yourself anywhere near Hooks, Texas, stop what you’re doing and head to Acadia Jeaux’s. I had the special of the day — Jalapeño Popper Meatloaf — and let me tell you, this was not your grandma’s Sunday loaf. It was pure, to-die-for gooey goodness stuffed inside a classic, tender meatloaf. Whoever dreamed this up deserves a culinary medal. 🏅
The wait staff was as warm and welcoming as the food, and when they found out I was staying in a hotel, they even hooked me up with extra dinner leftovers. That’s small-town hospitality at its finest.
And then there’s the owner — a friendly character with a great sense of humor who clearly loves what he does. You can feel it in the food, hear it in the laughter, and see it in the way everyone knows his name.
Bottom line: come for the food, stay for the people, leave with a happy belly and a smile on your face.

I was very surprised to have such great food so close to home. As my brother says...slamming, Slamming...SLAMMIN!! lol. I will gladly recommend this Eatery.

I have to say that this was a great place to grab a bite to eat. The service and food were really good. I got the seafood gumbo, and it was delicious. As you can see from my bowl.
I highly recommend this place as a usual spot or a quick off the highway stop. Either way you go, you won't go wrong.
