If you ever find yourself anywhere near Hooks, Texas, stop what you’re doing and head to Acadia Jeaux’s. I had the special of the day — Jalapeño Popper Meatloaf — and let me tell you, this was not your grandma’s Sunday loaf. It was pure, to-die-for gooey goodness stuffed inside a classic, tender meatloaf. Whoever dreamed this up deserves a culinary medal. 🏅

My husband and I are French, living in Alabama. We enjoyed the daily menu and the Mac and cheese, and we are absolutely foooond of the bread pudding. The best we’ve ever eaten! 🤩

Passing through town while on vacation googled catfish restaurants and this place was a hit. Our daughter said it was the best catfish shes ever ate and the mac n cheese was delicious. We tried fried catfish, fried / grilled shrimp and the grilled catfish plate. Everything was seasoned perfectly! We will definitely be back.
