We had a great meal and as “Little J” promised us our burgers were medium rare the way we like them. I can’t remember the bartenders name but she was great too. She makes a tasty Bloody Mary. You feel at home right away. We will be back.

Evan was our server and very knowledgeable about a vegan diet and what restrictions are necessary. Flawlessly guided me to the most delicious selection I could ever imagine! The impossible burger on a hoagie bun with grilled onions tomato and lettuce! It was flawless! The environment is beautiful! We ate outside underneath a deck with Our two pressers pups and Ceiling fans! Again stellar service and food! We can’t wait to come back!

Worst restaurant i ever eaten in in my life.
Drinks came after 30 minutes
Entrees cane after the drinks (around 40 minutes) amd were cold and blend
Appetizers came last - only 3 out of 5 we ordered
Horrible horrible experience

Most amazing burger cooked to perfection. Side salad was fresh and delicious. Love this place. Drinks were excellent.

Had breakfast buffet the day of the eclipse. Food was quite boring and bad: watery scrambled eggs, bacon undercooked, maybe the worst biscuits ever, service that was largely amateur (no spoons at one point). I later had food from a buffet at the resort’s waterfront grill: inedible (not cooked) fried eggplant and grilled chicken breast pieces. Not what one would expect from a fancy (albeit tacky) resort likely more interested in real estate sales than being a fine hotel.

Susan made my fiance's birthday awesome at the bar with a surprise slice of cake. The food was great, her dirty martini was spot on. The entire experience was a win because of her personality and drinks. There need to be more bartenders like her. An awesome experience overall. Will come back to see her again soon.

We had great experience there during spring break. One of the kids that came with us had gluten allergies. The manager and the chef made sure she had safe meals there. The next couple of days they even made gluten free desserts for the buffet which was very sweet. Overall the food was delicious and good variety.

Dietary restrictions: Our group of senior aged friends were looking for a St Patrick’s Day meal. A few have allergies. The listed phone number for Jay’s restaurant and bar was an automated system that 100% locked out or Inquiries. We ate elsewhere in Marble Falls.
The food and service were phenomenal. They had a buffet and they had a menu just in case you didn’t like the buffet. The waiters Shuvai and Denice were very nice.

Staying at the resort here in Marble Falls so we tried J’s for dinner.Walking in, the hostess was super friendly, always a good start.Got seated and ordered an appetizer, Mexican blue chips and corn, or something close to that, don’t remember. But it was super good! Little spicy for non spice lovers, but not so much they stopped eating it. It was better than I expected! No, that is not saffron on top, chili strings, not sure what they are, but didn’t eat them unless it was broken up and already on the cup.Dinner was a filet and chicken fried ribeye steak. Both were very good, come hungry for the fried steak, it’s big! Filet was cooked perfectly!Dessert was the chocolate flourless chocolate cake, which is basically chocolate mousse. It was really delicious according to my wife, I did not try it.Overall opinion, I’d eat here again! Prices were within reason for a nice hotel.Only negative I can say is the time after ordering to getting the food to eat. Seemed a little slow for the low number of people, but a good steak can’t be rushed.Update: Feb 23:Sat at the bar, got a couple drinks and ordered 2 appetizers for dinner.Farmers Market and J’s salad with turkey. The Farmers Market was top notch with a nice variety of fresh veggies and humus. The chips were light and crispy.Salad was good, turkey had a nice smoky flavor that compliments the greens. If you’re not super hungry and want something to hold you over until breakfast, these are a good and healthy option.
My wife and I like to try different places in the area once in a while. Given the reviews we thought we'd give J's a try. Didn't realize it was in the resort hotel until we arrived. The staff were all amazing: attentive, friendly, prompt, and courteous. The food looked amazing as well, but tasted meh, especially given the price which was twice what I would have expected. My side which was 3 pieces of bacon was $9. I was expecting a nice thick cut with a good flavor but it was along the lines of road side dinner quality.
