I lost all hope for this place. I have been a loyal customer of the Horseshoe Bay Resort for many years and I hoped that one-day Lantana Grill will improve the quality of the food and service and now I am positive it will not happen anytime soon. I went there on my Birthday last Sunday the 1st of December, I told my family that instead of going to the local Austin BBQ joint lets give them a try and I was VERY disappointed again. Food was bland, it was odd and just outright bad. Wage Salad with seeds, anybody? Fried Calamari in bland raw batter with Asian flavored pickled veggies? Asian pickled grape tomatoes in my salad, they tasted rotten and very wrong. Chardonnay, tasting like a Savonon Blanc. They would not serve you andy coffee drink claiming that they do not have a coffee machine and if you want cappuccino you must go get it yourself from the coffee shop next door, but they are fine to go to the next door bar and serve you drink from there. Hmm. I do not understand why in the middle of Texas Hill country this place serving Italian/Asian food interpretation(I think I am insulting those food cultures, food not even Italian or Asian) instead of serving grits with local goat cheese, local wines, BBQ, steak, local organic greens? I am not sure this place aware of where they are located and it is very very sad. Good luck to you, Lantana Grill, you surely lost me as a customer.

The crusted salmon was absolutely delicious. It was served with mashed potatoes and spinach. The salmon was seasoned and cooked perfectly.

This review is for breakfast. I asked for my eggs medium. They came out hard. The offered to,recook. Meanwhile I was left with cold potatoes. I asked for ketchup. They did not bring it until I asked again. The eggs that came out were slightly softer but still not much yolk. Shortly after I developed some stomach issues. My traveling companion experienced the same problem. Must have been the oil the potatoes were cooked in. I do not recommend them for breakfast.

Standard hotel buffet. Food was good, but not great. Plenty of options including biscuits and gravy, pancakes, pastries, and eggs. A little pricy for breakfast.

They offered a breakfast buffet that was top notch. There was also a good variety for lunch and supper on the menu.

The pizza is the worst pizza I have ever eaten. It was so greasy I couldn’t get it off the plate. The dough had a bitter taste at the end. I wish I ordered something else. The service at 1 pm was also very bad.

Read previous reviews with a grain of salt as this restaurant has new management and a new menu. Ate here with my girlfriend on 29Aug2019. I was skeptical to try it out based on the reviews but was greatly pleased with the quality of service (thank you Joselin A.!) and food. I can say that having traveled the world after 18 years in the Navy and counting (we sailors don't skimp on restaurants when we hit port after months at sea). They even sent over a free beer when they found out I was deploying next week. Texas quality ribeye and friendliness.

This place gave us the best service and food! I was honestly so skeptical due to the previous reviews. Wish all that have experienced the friendly staff and service would taken the time to give the place a well deserved review. I've never had treatment this good and I've been to many restaurants. They truly made my date and I feel special on such a emotional day. Joselin A. And manager truly catered to our needs and made our night extra special.

I am a member and this place has simply gone done hill. This used to be a good place to eat but new management has simply cut the menu to cater to low end hotel food. Sad....
While staying at the resort. We chose to dine at the lantana. We ordered a pizza and calamari for lunch. It took too long to get service. The pizza was just ok. The calamari was great! The waitress was wonderful as she kept checking on us and refilled my husband drink.

Excellent! The service is friendly and helpful while you dine in a relaxed and warm environment. I highly recommend the cheeseburger!

After staying here I hoped the main restaurant was going to be good. We it wasn't bad. Just average food with not a lot of choices for a premium cost. My ribeye steak was good but the wife's pizza was not.
