Monica’s Mexican Restaurant

I had fajita beef and chicken enchiladas. Ingredients fresh and tasty. Chips and salsa also good. Restroom clean. Wait staff attentive. No complaints here. I will definitely be back.

This is traditional SE Texas Tex-Mex. Everything was fresh, nothing came from a can. The cheeses in the enchiladas were excellent. The chili gravy was lighter than I was used to but I really liked it. Complimented it perfectly. The refried beans were well seasoned and smooth. Probably the BEST Mexican restaurant that I have found in Houston. I'm not a fan of all the Tex-Mex crap you find in the Houston area. Being from a city where authentic Mexican food is found everywhere, I can appreciate what Monica's is doing. Most other Mexican restaurants in the area I would never go to again because they are garbage. Food = A+ I've been here twice and everything has been Excellent. Service = A Very attentive staff.
