The food is fresh-made and just like mom/grandma used to make. I have never been disappointed at this restaurant. Not ever. The yummiest.
I have always had great service. It is well worth the drive from Anna, Texas and is one of my favorite places to go.
Overall food wasn’t terrible. The chicken fried steak was soggy, mashed potatoes were pretty thick. Ordered to go and asked for the gravy to be on the side for my chicken fried steak, but was told that would cost extra to put the gravy in a cup on the side instead of on the steak. That makes no sense, but I said okay and to just put it on the steak. I didn’t want to cancel the whole order for that. The order website shows that the gravy comes on the side for mashed potatoes-...
Our waiter gave us great service! The food was delicious! I had the chicken fried steak and it was so tender I could cut it with my fork. I can't wait to try other items on the menu.
