We were misled by the photos. We thought the food was going to come out the way the pictures looked. Nope.It was disappointing that they overcooked the fish and shrimp (very salty), gave different types of fries with 3 different orders, my burger was thrown together with what looked like leftovers, the daiquiris were too sweet. The wings were ok ( that’s why we gave a second star).We will not be going back there… simple food, shouldn’t be complicated and inconsistent.I didn’t even ask for my money back.Charge it to game.

Went to this place yesterday for the first time and omg such an amazing experience! The 3 beautiful ladies were so kind and welcoming, and the food was SO GOOD!!!!! They made everything fresh for us and not to mention everything here is so affordable! Will definitely be back. A 10/10
i went friday evening to get a menu because my coworkers wanted to give this place a try. talked to the nice woman and told her we would be ordering lunch for saturday. well sarturday came and the door says they open at 11 well 1 pm called the other location to find out 1960 should be open and they are the same companyfinally we got lunch... i wouldnt feed the chicken to my dogs. its baked wings with nasty sauce and the daquiri arent even drinkable both and lets say all of us can drink. if the owner or manager sees this.. do yourself a favor and cut your losses. this business will FAIL

BEST CATFISH AND SHRIMP I’VE EVER HAD IN MY LIFE!!! No lie it was soooooooooooooo good… I’m from out of town and my bro found the place… We got daiquiris that were so good… I had the Jazzy Red… but each one was better than he last, so you can’t go wrong there… Then I ordered the catfish… Keisha was AMAZING!!! She let me know the shrimp were on the way but she pre warned me so I wasn’t upset… When I tell you that was the best catfish EVER!!! Not lying… Then Sherie( forgive me if I spelled it wrong) came and saved the day with the shrimp… She added extra customer service and smiles and made me feel like I was eating at my favorite aunt’s house… the shrimp were worth the wait… 6 shrimp, but they were the BEST I’VE EVER HAD…. I love shrimp and can eat them everyday… I don’t know what’s in the batter, but they were perfect!!! If I wasn’t from out of town I would go everyday!!! If you live anywhere near Humble or Houston please check them out for me!!! Great food, music was a vibe and the customer service was excellent… Love Yal!!!

I came for a daiquiri and left with food from both places lol. The advertising on the windows sold me! I ordered the chili cheese fries, taco birria plate, 32oz Jazzy Red, and 32oz Sweetheart. My husband had the birria tacos and ate them in 3mins. I ate the chili cheese fries and although a simple meal, it was good! Fries had seasoning and the chili tasted homemade . I drank the Jazzy red and I would rate it a solid 7 for taste and 6 for potency. I usually can't finish a daiquiri but managed to finish the biggest one . Definitely will have a nice buzz at the end. The staff there were very friendly and helpful. Overall, I would definitely be back to try the soul food Sundays
