Took to long for the food to come out, no seasoning on the food and fries burnt. The view is beautiful hint the one star.

First of all, it's not the Cedar anymore... now the business is Lake Houston Brewery. The place offers a good variety of local beers and good food. They have a great staff, place is usually pretty packed but the attention you get is phenomenal.Nothing like good food and great beers with a view to Lake Houston!

Had a wonderful time. A bit of a wait, but that was due to the wonderful entertainment.

None of the employees or waiters wearing a face mask. It was very uncomfortable. Food okay. Nice sunset.

Under new name and new management for a year or so. Beer brews are very very good. Nice range of choices. Love the shrimp fish tacos...just the right amount of cilantro. Big chunky potato fries. Side salad is huge for $4. The gumbo draws crowds...get there early or miss out! Bands on weekwends.

Ordered the fried chicken sandwich and it came out burnt. Don't know if it was from the seasoning but the chicken was dry and the crust stuck to the ends was horrible couldn't even eat it took off the bun to try and eat the middle of the chicken tender that it was served with not a whole chicken breast they're tenders instead of the breast piece very sad first time here won't be ordering food here ONLY BEER.

Good food, nice staff. Outside seating is great when the weather permits.

This place used to be a nice restaurant. I don't know what happened. The prices are still simialar to a nice restaurant. The big difference between it and fast food is no drive thru. Small menu with barely ok food and disposable eatery. The wait staff tries but they don't have much to work with.

Place isn’t the cedar or anything close to the old business. Completely reinvented. Better than ever. The owners are up front with big ears....These great community supporters listen and make changes to make all customers happy....What a difference Sean and his family have made...Transformed a sad restaurant into the restaurant to eat at!!!!Forget yuckAnd enjoy Lake Houston breweryYou won’t be disappointed

Mediocre at best. The food wasn't as bad as numerous friends said it was. It was just terribly under seasoned. The blonde beer was good. The waitress was very nice but kept disappearing. We had to ask for her 3, yes 3 times. And it wasn't even busy. There was no band but the music playing in the indoor dining room was awesome. The place could use a good cleaning. The picture window that runs all the way around the indoor dining room was filthy. The ceiling and ceiling fans are full of dust and cobwebs. I would probably try this place again but would have to go without my husband. He did not enjoy his fried fish & shrimp, at all. The fish was under cooked and not edible. It would also be nice if they had a full bar. Beer and wine only!

The view was great thats about all. Food was fair at best. Took some time for someone to even get us drinks. Finally had a server walk up to check on us and state shes not sure who our server is but she will take care of us. When the food came out it was unimpressive and didn't seem like a good value. Could be a good place to go with friends to relax and have a few drinks as long as you are just going for the view not the food or service.

I never leave a review but I'm posting one today in hopes it will improve, I ordered spicy boiled shrimp and was left disappointed because they had no flavor at all, luckily I was able to get some Cajun seasoning on the side to help. My friend ordered the seafood gumbo and was also disappointed as it was flavorless as well. Chips and salsa were fair but I've had better. The real disappointment was the beer menu. The beer was tasty but my top two choices were both sold out on a Wednesday night at the brewery itself. The wait staff was very friendly and the food was prompt which held my review at 3 stars.Hope mgmt will read this and hopefully make some changes. I will probably go back to try the fried fish platter as that is what seemed everyone else was ordering.
