Over priced ok bourbon…. Staff was very rude. The food is the only reason they deserve a 1 star … will never return
Sorry not sorry but Kentucky is just superior for bourbon and distilleries. Been to several in my time and this one disappoints. 1. Have to pay for a tour. 2. Tasting is not included in that tour. I would be happy to pay if an actual tasting was part of it; not just little sips of mash, white dog and small batch. Heaven Hill charges but it has a tasting. Same with Old Forester. Buffalo Trace (arguably the king) is free and has a tasting. Property is pretty but I'd prefer to be able to walk around myself. Kinda unfortunate to have the distillation buildings separated from the visitors area. Overall I'd visit again but not to tour unless it improves (to me obviously). The bathrooms are fun.
We did the tour at the Distillery. This was a great place, and we did the 10 am tour and ended up listening to the live music and hanging out with friends until about 4pm.
Staff is very friendly and the information was cool to learn and the tastes were fantastic as well! I wish I would have known about the tasting, but overall a great day!
This is our second time visiting. 4 of us went on the tour, one of us blind and disabled and we all had an absolutely fantastic time! They were very bright and made lots of jokes! They are very transparent about their services and products which made the experience fantasic! They have FANTASTIC SLIDERS so I would highly recommend the food if visiting on weekends! Thank you to Garrison Brothers for being so accommodating for my blind grandfather he had a great time and wants to definitely go back! He was also very appreciative of them having benefits for Veterans as well
One of the most unique distilleries I have ever been to. Definitely make this a spot to visit.
Smooth great tasting bourbon no doubt! The only complaint is they are stingy with the flights and barely put any! we just bought a bottle. other than that great experience and the bathrooms are cute
We did the tour, tasting and ate at the bar. Amy was our tour guide and is amazing. Bourbon was also amazing. My only complaint is that the menu states Gluten Free for the tacos, but they came out on flour. Thanks for a great time y’all!
Third time to visit and always a great time. Relaxing, great drinks and pours! Will always come back to Garrison Brothers anytime I am in the area.
What an awesome time at Garrison Brothers. Beautiful location, killer food, lovely and knowledgeable staff, and they really let you experience a lot of the process. During the tour we got to sample the bourbon in every stage from mash bill to the final product, super unique for a distillery tour. I wish I could have spent all day there.
Even if I was doing sober living I'd want to come here just for the food. They had some really unique menu items. Even their unassuming items, like their double wagyu burger, should not be slept on. Genuinely blew my mind how good their food was. The general area where everyone hangs is gorgeous and spacious. Seriously cool.
This was one of my favorite activities when visiting Fredericksburg. It’s only about 35mins outside of town in Hye, Tx and worth the short drive! If you enjoy good bourbon you will want to visit Garrison Brothers. The tour guide was friendly and knowledgeable.

Awesome property. Loved the tour, except the fact they only give you one pour for the entire tour. I do like their bourbons, but I also feel like the over price all of their stuff. Average cheese board here though our cocktail was good. I would still come back to hang out here.
It was our first distillery tour and it was a great experience! The team that briefed was very knowledgeable and friendly. I hope we can bring friends for their first tour!

Great distillery! A lot more rustic and easy going than some of the ones along the Bourbon Trail like Buffalo Trace. The tour was awesome, staff were super nice and helpful. Gift shop is cute, and they are dog friendly :)
Took the tour today and it was awesome. Their enthusiasm for Texas bourbon makes you want to buy a bottle then fill out an application to work there. Very informative staff and always willing to answer questions.
