Dom was our host, and he was a hoot! We tried the flight of 5 ciders at the winery and they were all so delicious. Our favorites were the Hye Cinner, Gloriosa Mimosa, and the Hye Peach Drifter. The place is filled with sweet dogs and the service is fantastic. They are truly passionate about what they do and they’re not afraid to show it. Highly recommend this place to anyone stopping through. They take great care of their guests.

Hye cider is hands down the best cider in Texas. You honestly can’t get better. It’s not overly sweet like most ciders and offers a variety of ABVs for every taste. Don’t pass them up at HEB or go in for a tasting and ask to speak to the head cider maker Nate, he’s always willing to talk shop (if he’s not busy!) and is very knowledgeable about Texas booze in general!

Most expensive cider in the world! Came in for some cider tasting and was very disappointed. $25 to sample five ciders and only received roughly 1 oz pours of each. The ciders were okay but nothing outstanding, especially considering the cost of these tastes was the equivalent of paying $360 for a six pack of 12 oz bottles.
