Bad food!! Was served a cold greasy sandwich. Nothing like what was presented on website. Brought my wife all the way out here for her first Texas BBQ experience, was embarrassed.

The Whiskey Shack was a perfect compliment to the Tour. The prime rib sandwich was legit, along with the house made potato chips. The old-fashioned and frozen Bourbon Dr. Pepper slush were amazing. Everyone we encountered was friendly, conversational, and provided sound recommendations; whether it was food, drinks, or souvenirs. Amy and Amy facilitated a great, super friendly, and informative tour. We will be back!

This place is second to none. Food is over the top. Everyone is friendly. Prices are on par with other places in the Fredericksburg area. We will be back in May.

Hands down the best biscuits I’ve ever eaten and the honey bourbon butter is to die for. Joseph the chef is incredible. He adds a touch of class to the experience. If you’re passing by this is a must.
