Don't let the small outside fool you, they are big on flavor. You will order at the bar. Very rustic, very cool dining experience. The burgers are HUGE the BBQ is delicious, but get there early before they run out of sliced brisket. Be sure to save some room for the delicious banana pudding for dessert. If the front is full there is more parking on the side.

We live out in the country, Miss Patty!Ya gotta try a lot of different places to get a goodin. As far as old style bar and restaurant atmospheres go, I'd say this is among the top three in the areas from Brookshire to Schulenburg and from Hempstead to Eagle Lake. There are a few sports bar restaurants and some Specialty ethnic foods but I still prefer Welcome, where you always feel welcome.

Loved this place. Bingo on Thursday night so the place was packed. Brisket sandwich was piled high with juicy beef. Really enjoyed myself and plan to return.

This place is a hidden gem. Friendly atmosphere and employees. They have live music on Saturday evenings and Bingo night's.The food is outstanding. You can even buy a dozen eggs while you're there...the chickens are out back and eggs are picked daily...can't get much fresher than that!!!
Last week we went for live Music and tonight was Karaoke. Had not been in since the new owners. Love the new look, the decor is reflects the history of the Welcome Store well. The Banana pudding was delicious. Next time the brownies!
Excellent atmosphere! Didn't eat, but others' meals looked delicious! Friendly staff, great live entertainment.

Overrated place in the country. Sometimes when there is no competition in the area the food suffers. This is a good place for executive bikers who want a beer, but we didn’t thing the food was good today.I have to agree with others that the barbecue blows. It tasted ok but was cold and dry, so probably not cooked there. Used some sauce to help it.If you want a straw or a fork you’d better ask for it before you sit down. The place is really cool so we will try it again, but get something different. Maybe steak night is better.
