The fried seafood basket was just that. Nothing special. The fries were extra crispy as requested. Our server was fantastic, and remembered my wife didn't want tomatoes on her fried chicken sandwich, so without asking she removed them from her salad. Her chicken sandwich was fantastic. Unfortunately there were parents in there with many children who had no clue how to control their children. They acted like animals destroying a peaceful atmosphere for everyone. Worst part is they were young football players from the area. Zero class. Other than that the place is nice and local with a steady flow of customers. Average price, and huge portions.
The popcorn shrimp was overcooked, but other than that, the food was good.

Small place right by the side of the road, literally...you can park across the road between the tracks and road and run across. Food was great, sat outside (between road and front door) food is great just like the original black beards, but had to go inside several times to get someone to refill our drinks and ask for condiments..live music consisted of a one man show with a guitar and a tip jar....

We have eaten here more than a few times. It seems like there has been a decline in food quality and freshness. The service seems to have gotten better. This past visit, I ordered the blackened tuna special with special sauce. The tuna was dry and bland, considering it was blackened. It also came out without the sauce. They had to take it back and put it under the warmer while they prepared the sauce. Overall, the dining experience was not up to their normal standards.
This is one of my go-to places. Great food! Love the staff! Rewards program. I really enjoy th3 atmosphere. Cool place!
