As a Cuban, I was pleasantly surprised to find this little gem in the middle of Texas. We visited this restaurant one Friday afternoon while waiting to check-in at our hotel down the street. I ordered a Cuban sandwich and the other guy in our party ordered a ropa vieja with 2 sides. Both were very delicious and the portions were very big. The place is very simple looking and the menu choices are limited, but what they have is enough to get you filled. Prices are around 10 bucks per serving average. Ah, don’t forget your cuban coffee before leaving!

My husband and I found this little place by a comment of my dad whom was missing Cuban food. Is quite a drive from Corpus Christi (that's where we were staying) but worth it. Don't judge it by the appearance, go inside and ask for food of the day or sandwiches, they're all amazing. Great flavor, very generous serving and just delicious, you won't regret the drive.

Dang this is some good food. We showed up at 4:00 they close at 4:00. They were nice enough to serve us. The Ropa vieja is fantastic good size portions. The Cuban sandwich is sooo good. I tried the cafe con leche delicious. If you like Cuban food and you are near this place do yourself a favor stop in here and have some good food.
My husband and I finally tried this little gem in Ingleside, Texas. It did not disappoint. The food and customer service was great. It’s worth the 30-minute drive to Ingleside. We will be back. Probably sooner rather than later.
