The fried chicken was really good. The gravy was thin. The lid on the gravy that was in the box with the chicken came off during transportation and spilled gravy in the box. The mashed potaoes and buscuits were too salty. I would purchase the chicken from them again, but not the potatoes and biscuits.
Chicken tenders are out of this world. Disappointed with the onion rings at the Ingleside/Portland TX location. FROZEN! (The Robstown location still makes them fresh). Small store only 4 or 5 tables for seating. Really a take out store. Not the cleanest looking restaurant. Will have to say though the service was outstanding and I would go back for the chicken.
Did the drive-through for dinner. Ordered the 10 piece chicken and rolls. The chicken was still hot when I got home, and the rolls/biscuits were soft and buttery. Took a little time in the drive-through, but the chicken was fresh out of the fryer. Reasonable prices and tasty. We will eat there again.
