I had the brisket and jalapeño sausage. Both were phenomenal! On top of great BBQ my plate came with a delicious peach cobbler. If you're in the area or willing to kill some time off the interstate ITS A MUST!

I went with my best friend at the time, Chuck Cone, who sadly past away not long ago. His sister (I forget her name) owns and runs the place. This BBQ was the best I’ve ever had in all of Texas. Guy Feriari should check this place out!! Chuck was very proud of his nice and friendly sister!!

Took a little detour to stop here on the way to Big Bend. Completely worth it. This was maybe the best brisket I’ve ever had. Perfect end pieces, so tender, just the right amount of fat. Great mac and cheese and beer bread too

This is the best BBQ I have ever had i been north south east and west and ther no place that is even comparable first off, the brisket grilled cheese is heaven on earth. Perfect in every way it does not lack on portion size trusted me one sandwich will feel you. And their mac and cheese brisket burrito is to die for i have literally had everything on the menu. At least once, and I have never had a complaint. Very very friendly customer service the lovely couple that runs it are awesome people

I reached out to Salt Creek BBQ for a Brisket and Bread to take with me for Christmas Eve as we were traveling all the way to the other side of Texas and didn’t have time to make a meal upon arriving to our final destination. Wow, wow, wow!!! We were looking for somewhere to stop for dinner and hit the jackpot! This was, hand's down, the best brisket we ever had. It melted in our mouths and was paired with a delicious homeade sauce, amazing bear bread, delicious beans and the sweetest, most incredible cherry cobbler we've ever had. The sweet and unsweetened tea was amazing as well. We had great conversation with the owner who shared information about Big Bend National Park. We'll be back when we go to W.Texas.

The owners came and sat with me had a good conversation, felt like just at home. The food was just crazy good, Brisket plate melted like Butter, that beer bread, the sauce is homemade, very rustic very very good food. Only 15 mile drive from I-10 and that’s cause I’m driving an 18 Wheeler. 100% recommended it’s a must when heading west or coming into San Antonio.
