Cute little cafe stop to meet up with family. Enjoyed lunch/breakfast here! Affordable, delicious meals were had by 5 of us! We ordered a Hamburger plate, 2 pc Catfish Dinner with fries and a salad, 2 egg breakfast with bacon, pancakes and hashbrowns, Country Fried Steak (Chicken Fried) with Mashed Potatoes, Gravy, Fried Okra and Salad! Flavorful and good comfort food at affordable prices. Will be sure to stop in when we get back through Iredell.
The catfish platter couldn't have been better.. Spot on. The fries were delicious as well. Probably should have opted for okra in place of the salad.. But overall? For $25 bucks it's the best fried catfish you will find.
They are known for their catfish, and it is excellent, however they also have an amazing hamburger. Simple, balanced hamburger with fresh ingredients. If you are a fan of Whataburger and Texas Burger restaurants this is same style but better. Double meat all the way with mustard and jalepenos is my recommendation.
