Worth the quick little drive from the interstate. If you are traveling through and need a quick bite to eat this is a great choice. The staff is very friendly, courteous, helpful and polite. They had my order out quick. There is also a drive thru for your convenience.
It is the closest they can be to Carls Jr.'s burgers from Monterrey, even though it is an American franchise in Monterrey, we adopted them as our 60-mile trip, but their flavor is worth it.
As a truck driver, I eat in a lot of restaurants, and I have never really been a big fan of Hardee’s or Carl’s Jr. But yesterday I stopped at the Carl’s Jr. in Italy, Texas at the loves truckstop, and I was absolutely amazed. The service and everything was great but the jalapeño double burger that I got was the absolute best burger I’ve ever had. Everything was perfect the lettuce, the tomatoes.
