The best Kolaches ever and pastries, but if you going to order a cake for a big event PLEASE DON’T WASTE YOUR MONEY!!! They charge you expensive to give you a crappy job nothing like the picture you gave them. My husband went to go pick up the cake at the according time for our first baby shower which the theme was about airplane, the cake look like they did not put no effort decorating the printed airplane was upside down, they didn’t try to cover the cake until my husband told them to do it, (their customer service on handling the big event cakes sucks big time).

Picked what i wanted got in line. The cheapest piece is at least $1.00 each. They have so much bussiness and they did not have change for a $100 bill?!?!?! C'mon!!! Everything was already bagged and im sure all the bread i picked and they bagged is going back for sale. I sure im not the only only one leaving the bread bagged. Wath out people, someone might have touched your CONCHA!!! I HAVE SEEN PEOPLE PINCHING THE BREAD THEY ARE TAKING BEFORE THEY PAY FOR IT.

Very unpleased with this bakery, when it first came into the neighborhood it was great. Now with bread running out at peak rush hour, having to wait 30 mins for bolillos, and the wait to check out was 10 mins. I was paying cash and the bakers were willing to take it out of their tip jar to give us change. ABSOLUTELY RIDICULOUS, the manager had a bad attitude and definitely needs customer service skills. Please improve your management, I do not want to see this bakery go away with Estrella Roja / La Hacienda Bakery down the street. (FYI they’re better, just came to this one due to it being closer.)

I ordered a custom tres leches cake from this bakery for my birthday, paid $105 for it- and was really let down. When I placed the order, the girl taking it seemed very disorganized. I specially requested GOLD glitter on the cake. However, when my husband picked it up, the cake had SILVER glitter instead. My husband called me to let me know they only had pink and silver, so I told him to pick the pink. They gave him the cake in a huge box because they ran out of regular boxes. Thankfully my sister was there to help.

What's worse is that they asked for my phone number when I ordered, but no one ever contacted me to let me know they ran out of gold glitter. If you are not going to use the phone number to communicate important changes why even ask for it?

To top it off, when we cut into the cake, it was completely DRY, definitely not a tres leches cake. It tasted like a basic sponge, not soaked in any milk at all. I tried calling to speak with a supervisor but was told they weren't there.

I would NOT recommend ordering custom cakes from here, especially for special occasions. Save your money and go somewhere that actually listens and delivers what they promise.

Bread is overpriced and not that tasty. .no prices on the bread. The bolillo bread has a weird after taste. Would not recommend. The bolillo bakery is better rather drive to wayside and 45 to get bread. Worst place ever

zero stars if i could! looks nothing like the referenced picture at all, if they couldn’t of replicate it they should’ve said so to begin with! and the cake tasted horrible! they added so much food coloring that it STAINS and its non edible. i should’ve just made it myself but i really wanted to give them a try. worse experience ever. don’t waste your money on their cakes.

Unfortunately I would like to say against my will that this is an excellent place hahahahahahaha it is very familiar recommended to visit every day very pleasant its staff is incredibly the best of the best, the treatment without a doubt exceeds my expectations even though they have not given me a job It doesn't matter

Parking: Sometimes it gets a little crowded because they really have a lot of flow of buyers and if there are queues it means that the quality of what you buy is excellent. I am very observant about those things, those little details, yes, they do have a large number of clients.

Kid-friendliness: It is quiet here, you will find good sweets for the children or rather breads as our Mexican brothers call them.

I came in for a quote for cake one week. Came by the following week to go ahead and order it and they were now charging me nearly $100 more than the original quote and would not honor the price. The Mexican bread tastes just fine. Not so good on the service. If you get a quote, get it on paper, and by who and god knows what else. Probably won’t honor it anyways

The bred is over priced $2.50 on pice of bred ? and that’s just because I saw it on their little computer. I asked for the receipt to see how much was each piece. She didn’t wanna give me the receipt. She only gave me a price total receipt. Taking advantage just because there’s not another nearby bakery.

By far the best tasting sweet bread in Houston. They use quality ingredients and each piece of bread has its unique taste. Definitely a must try.
