Food was not good, chicken fried chicken was inedible, totally burnt on the bottom as the chicken tenders were also burnt and totally dried out on the inside, service was fine ,also soggy fries in our salad,no idea how fries get in salad but gross.

Honestly we were looking for more of a Texas BBQ menu. We took our tea to go, But I loved the design of the place. It's an old building that seems to have been well loved and taken care of. The staff was friendly and the other patrons seemed to like it and the food on their plates looked and smelled delicious. It just wasn't BBQ!

I stayed in the B&B, and it was spectacular. The room was spotless, AC was ICE COLD!!!, bed was comfy, bathroom was gorgeous, getting in and out was a snap. I will DEFINITELY stay here again, and I'll recommend it to my family who travel to Jacksboro from time to time. It was much nicer than the Hilton, Holiday Inn, and Hyatt hotels I've frequented recently, for sure. Truly a treat.

We stopped here in a Saturday after visiting Fort Richardson. The restaurant is located in an old building in downtown Jacksboro, right across the street from the courthouse. The building and the interior of the restaurant are very nice and they did a good job of maintaining the original characteristics of the building.
The service was very good, our waitress was very helpful and friendly. They also accommodated the food allergies at the table without hesitation.
The food was ok. Out of what we ordered the wings were the best. The chicken fried steak ok. We were most disappointed in the fried pickles (see picture). For $11, there were way too few pickles and they weren't very tasty either.

An excellent place to hook up with old friends or to perhaps meet new ones while enjoying a craft beer or your favorite cocktail. The quality of the food particularly the steaks make this place a must go.

Giving food a 4/5 star rating after pizza was pulled from their menu!! Soooo disappointing.
My family and I go there FOR the stone fire pizza. Itās the best⦠was.
Please bring it back for football season, cooler weather and for patio dining.
Or please consider serving only on the weekends. I know thereās a high school kid or someone out there that can fire that bad boy back up!
Romas will be our alternative following this major change to JRs
