The food was exquisite. It's been a while since I've eaten at a place like this. Ordered catfish, frog legs, burger and chicken fried chicken. All was amazing. Well done!

I was skeptical about stopping in. But pleasantly surprised. Opted for the infamous Chicken Fried Steak, which they had on the buffet $16 today, and it was delicious. It’s the batter for sure. Buttermilk I think? Ever so slightly salty but I’m sure the gravy and mashed potatoes was supposed to mellow/balance that out but I missed getting some of that.
Would 100% go again.

Cute restaurant with a great buffet or a complete menu to choose from. We chose to have burgers and fries...best fries I've had in a very long time. The burger was good too and big enough for two people.

I haven't been to Green frog in a bit due to working late hours at times but my husband and I were able to come last Saturday night to eat again. It was delicious! I ordered chicken fried steak and my husband the ribeye. Estella, ( the cook that night ) always knows what she is doing for sure. Our server was Miranda ♥️ I must say that girl runs circles and did an amazing job! She was super was polite and on top of things! We never had to ask for anything. DeeDee the owner makes great cabbage and pretty much everything there is great! If you haven't been there yet it's a must go to in Jacksboro!

We were passing through and stopped for a late lunch and it has been years since we had ate here and it's still AWESOME!!! The tea, the hamburger steak the baked potatoes and salad bar were all perfect!! The young man that waited on us was super helpful and courteous! Loved everything!!

The Green Frog was such a great breakfast stop this morning! The food was fresh, hot, and delicious — we tried the breakfast bowl, biscuits and gravy, and home fries, and everything was cooked perfectly. The service was friendly and fast, and the atmosphere was cozy and welcoming. Definitely a spot we’ll be returning to! 🥞☕️🐸
We have been to Jacksboro several times and have wanted to stop in at the green frog because it looks like a great diner. We got the chance last week stopped in and it did not disappoint. The chicken fried steak is the size of a plate and the buffet was fried catfish with all the fixings Not only looked great but tasted great as well. They have big as your hand yeast rolls and you can even order a delicious strawberry salad for the lighter side. All in all when passing through Jacksboro, we will definitely make the green frog one of our regular spots take note they are open for breakfast through lunch closing at two no dinner service that we know of
