I miss this place. The people and the food were always second to none. I'm very happy to see that it's still in business. I hauled barite to the Halliburton yard that was next door years ago. Me and another driver delivered there 2 or 3 times a week and ate here every time we delivered. We'd be starving by the time we got to Dallas but we would tough it out and wait until we got to Jacksboro so we could eat some good food. I know I'll pass through there again...
The waitress was poorly trained. But the food was awesome. It was a true home cooked meal. Can't wait till I get to go back out that way. I gave the waitress a $5 tip on my card, and I gave the cook a $20 tip cash.
I stopped in along my travel and I’m happy I did. The parking lot had several open spots. Restaurant was clean. Service was excellent! Food was freshly prepared and tasted soooooo good. If you are hungry for breakfast I definitely recommend. Bacon 🥓 was so good. And was happy to see that they offer grits. 😊Thanks 🩷✌️
