If you are in for an adventure this is the place to go. You will not get traditional Texmex here. The food and spices bring a whole new world to Mexican food. The staff is awesome and friendly. We have been a couple of times and each time is a great experience. Will keep coming back!
This restaurant has apparently been in Jacksonville a while, but we live 30 miles away and were unaware of it. We decided to try it and were pleasantly surprised. A small facility, maybe 10 booths and an equal number of tables. A large variety of Mexican inspired seafood dishes. The staff were friendly and the service was good. My wife and I split shared the Mexican Shrimp Cocktail and the Big Mex Nachos. The shrimp cocktail was was the standard Mexican version but had a very generous amount of large shrimp. We both liked it. The nachos were not what I expected, not bad, just different. We thought they were good too. Bottom line, we will be going back soon to try some of the more traditional offerings.
