Visited on a friday afternoon to spend time with family ended up with the WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE I believe the girls name is evelyn! She was super rude not attentive at all and gave me an attitude when i asked for rice instead of lettuce as a side on my quesadilla. She proceeded to roll her eyes at me and ignored me while I was trying to pay. Never coming back.

This is one of my favorite places in Jacksonville. Normally, I go straight for the Gorditas because I’m a big gordita fan.
But on this day, I decided on the Deluxe Huarache Plate. The Huarache has a bed of thick masa shaped into an oval, and I became intrigued because I’m a huge fan of thickened and particularly crispy fried or grilled masa. I have a beautiful relationship with machete at a few places. I can find that serve it.
The Huarache Plate is served with meat of your choice, rice, beans, lettuce, pico de gallo, sour cream, queso fresco and avocado. I nixed the avocado based on humanitarian reasons…namely, I hate avocado! To round out the plate, you get a street taco with meat of your choice, served with onion and cilantro.
I got adobo pork in the huarache, which came as short lengths of meat marinated with a wonderful red sauce while the street taco I selected as a desebrada that was tender, perfectly spiced, and delicious! Highly recommend!

Seeing all the positive reviews made us excited to give it a try. So, so disappointed. Salsa was just tomatoes, no heat whatsoever. I had to ask for some sauce with heat. Brought out 2 squeeze bottles with green sauce. I added some to the plain tomatoes for a little spice. The chips were stale and tough. As for the food it was one-dimensional in taste. No freshness, whatsoever. Luckily there was a slice of lime that I squeezed on the street taco and the huarache, which was so greasy tasty. Sorry, East Texas, we've yet been able to find good Mexican food here.
As for the atmosphere, ceiling tiles were falling apart, signs and pictures were cheap and old, and one lady came out to clean the table next to us with a rag so strong smelling with ammonia it made me gag.
The only positive. The waitress was kind and always had a smile.
Some very good authentic Mexican Food. And the different hot sauces they bring you are definitely great! I like to come here once or twice a week. Great food!
Very good food 😋 great staff, and beautiful place 🙂
Stopped here to try the food, and it was excellent. Very good pricing. Was given 4 different hot sauces as well. I'll definitely be coming back.

We went on a weekday night, so it was slow. There was plenty of seating, and the food was good. Service was wonderful

I walked in and waited 5 minutes and nobody said anything to me, so I stood there and then finally some guest told me that I’m supposed to seat myself so I went and sat down. I sat there for 15 minutes. Nobody ever said anything to me or came to my table, so I left and now I don’t have time to eat lunch :) do not recommend

On a scale of 1-10 I'd choose about a 6.5, I guess. Wish I could vote 100% yes for this place. However, first time dining here & while the food was excellent, service was superb & atmosphere is hip....I was (over)charged for drinks. Maybe salsa, too, IDK. For a single person my ticket was half meal & half drinks (ordering only 1 tea). Never have I ever had a restaurant charge for refills plus extra on a to-go tea (refill)! P.S. Server should have warned me of such a thing, instead I'm told "I have to" at the register when paying out to learn my total was double than what it really should've been!!
Very satisfied with the service and the food is delicious and always fresh, this is a family restaurant and I highly recommend this restaurant.

The food here is amazing. The fajitas have a lot of flavor especially when combined with the habanero sauce. I recommend getting the gringas tacos with Al pastor

Every item I’ve tried has been the best! The food is delicious and fresh and there are so many options! The strawberry lemonade is out of this world! The ladies are so friendly and the restaurant is very clean and the tables and booths are spacious.
