5 stars are not enough!
Food was perfection and hospitality beyond top notch. My husband said it’s the best meal he’s ever experienced. Everything was well thought out and meticulously executed. And even better RJ leaves no stone unturned by telling you about each bite down to the history and origin.
Thank you RJ and Mitchell for making Scott’s birthday the best yet.

If I could give a thousand stars, I would. Food and Table is one of the most delightful hidden gems I’ve ever experienced, better than most big-city fine dining restaurants by a wide margin.

My fiancé and I have been several times now: lunch five or six times, a Thursday night dinner once, and the Omakase dinner experience once. Lunch is consistently divine, the best Chinese chicken salad I’ve ever had. Thursday night dinner features a thoughtfully curated menu that changes weekly, and every single dish we’ve tried has been outstanding.

The true showstopper, though, is the Omakase dinner. It’s not just a meal, it’s a full experience, and it’s worth every penny and then some. We went with my parents for a pre-Christmas celebration, and it’s a memory we’ll treasure forever. Truly out of this world. Chef RJ and bartender Mitchell created one of the most special and memorable dining experiences I’ve ever had, anywhere we’ve traveled. The drinks were just as exceptional—beautifully crafted cocktails, sake, wine, and anything else you could want from their extensive full bar.

Please go here. Go out of your way to go here. You won’t regret it, and you’ll be counting the days until you can go back!

Everything was fantastic and the staff was awesome. The chef came to our table and talked to us about his dessert special: a tempura fried blueberry cheesecake. Fantastic!

Food & Table is a hidden gem in Jacksonville, TX. RJ is an amazing chef and his sushi and sashimi is some of the very best I've had anywhere around the country. The atmosphere is nice enough to take my wife on a nice date, but still relaxed enough that we enjoy just hanging out for drinks and dessert.

What an experience! I've never had sashimi or any raw fish. And they served REAL , wasabi. Freshly ground. Too many good things to mention. Its about 190 a person but the experience will stay woth you for a lifetime.

I’ve eaten at some of the best sushi restaurants from Seattle to Portland, Los Angeles, and elsewhere. The omakase experience at Food and Table is one of the best in the United States, in my opinion.

The fish was incredibly high quality, as was the presentation. Don’t skip on the drink pairings either.

Shocked that an experience like this exists in East Texas. We will definitely be back!

Very rarely I take time to do this- but this place absolutely warrants it. Simply amazing. It’s not just a dinner, a meal- it’s an experience. Having travelled the world, and then finding this place in my own backyard is a treat I won’t take for granted, but will frequent it as often as I can. Do yourself and your stomach a huge favor- book a dinner with the chef. See you again- and soon.

This experience is a hidden gem in East Texas. Chef brings personality, originality, and confidence to his concept, which is clearly a culmination of his experiences and influences. RJ would be booked out for months in any major city with his culinary talents and presentation, but he's chosen to bring his talents to a place he calls home. The quality of his inspired omakase is unmatched in the region and, quite frankly, outpaces literally every establishment that strives for anything similar this side of LA, and that includes everything Dallas has to offer. Had this been a dry establishment I would still come back time and time again, but on top of the outstanding culinary experience the cocktails were extraordinary. There's no drink list (I don't think), but they can make just about anything, so a top notch cocktail bar is crafted into the experience. To top it off, the venue itself is immaculate. Custom woodwork. Custom bar. Everything about it is next level. Make a reservation today.

My diet is restrictive, low carbs, low sugar. I ordered the asian salad with grilled chicken and fried wantons on the side. Very good, healthy choices for those watching glucose levels.

Love the vibe and friendly service.

An unforgettable omakase experience from start to finish. Every bite was masterfully crafted with the freshest ingredients, each one better than the last. The chef’s deep knowledge and meticulous attention to detail elevated each course. We will definitely be returning. What an incredible restaurant!

I would like to start out by saying that I have experienced omakase at Uchi in Austin and Nakazawa in NYC. My first thought is, Wow! The selection of food we were presented with was awesome. But what set it over the top was the personal experience we had with chief RJ right there with us as he prepared each selection right in front of us. This is a “can’t miss” experience any sushi lover MUST HAVE!!!
