Drove by this place a couple of times but didn't have time to stop. You can bet I'll be making time to stop here from now on. Very rarely does a BBQ joint get it right with every meat on the tray. Usually the ribs will be great and the brisket won't or vice versa. I can of think of a few places that hit it out of the park with everything. Thos is one of them. He serves two different flavors of ribs...a dry rub and a glazed. Omg....they were both fantastic. The brisket...

I'm a brisket gal, and I'm always looking for that perfectly crusted, smokey, tender (with the perfect amount of marbling) 5 star brisket. I found it here in Jacksonville, TX! It's worth going out of your way!

The food was good, just cold. Staff was friendly and the tea was good. Pinto beans were not seasoned but was the warmest part of my meal. Turkey was delicious and tasted like Thanksgiving but was cold. Brisket was trimmed well and was presented nicely but was cold. Squash and zucchini had excellent flavor but, you guessed it, was cold. Outdoor temperature was 20 degrees but the heat lamps should keep meats that aren't in the warmer at least somewhat warm. All in all, food...
