This guy needs to get over himself.

I ordered three pour-over coffees and requested milk to add to them. The barista refused, stating that adding milk to specialty coffee was not allowed. When I asked for a separate cup of milk to add myself, he declined again, citing store policy, but offered a refund. I ended up using a water cup to add milk myself and he looked at me like he wanted to kill me.

The presence of flavored syrups on the menu made the strict “no milk” policy feel inconsistent to say the least.

All that aside, the coffee was great.

DO NOT GO HERE unless you want to feel like a huge burden!!!! Went in for coffee and was not greeted by the person on their phone.. he seemed very annoyed we were there… asked how to order a plain black coffee on the screen and he said “you can make that at home” and when we added espresso to our coffees…. He looked at us very annoyed and said “espresso” like really your making make espresso …..this man with bleach blonde hair could not have been more inconvenienced with our visit to his work place. Awful service

Coffee is decent. The owner has completely lost touch with his customers requiring ordering on a touch screen while the barista stands begins it. A conversation with the employee indicates that the tablet has virtually made him irrelevant and he is not wrong. He suggested that I contact the owner about it but could not provide me contact info but told me I could walk down to the gym and get a card there because he owns that as well. That is not worth the effort. I am positive if the customer service approach changed he would have a full coffee bar and not just one lonely guy sitting there. The pastries in the case looked good but considering the traffic through there these were NOT going to be fresh. Not worth your trip there, even if the coffee is good. Find something better.

Update: I have read a number of the other reviews and it appears the same complaints have been reported before. The ownership is deft to the reviews and clearly does not care. Do better or get out of the business. This could be a gem instead is it on the same level as a coin-op vending machine.

From out of town so my first time there. The place was nice and clean amd the staff was friendly. Ordered on a tablet, which isn't a huge deal, but they didn't have a menu with drinks already put together. I like coffee but am far from a connoisseur, and usually benefit from someone answering questions while ordering. I didn't see a size option, which I didn't realize until I picked up my order. 16.00 and 2 Maybe 6 oz cups. Hopefully its super strong

It wasn’t all bad. The blueberry muffin was delicious. Honestly one of the best i’ve had. The kiosk ordering was fine too. I didn’t have any issues with staff.

But the ham croissant tasted like it was in a dryer. The coffee was worse. It was watery, and didn’t have a punch like you’d expect with an extra shot of espresso.

A few friends and myself went in today and it was extremely disappointing. First, you have to order on a kiosk which wouldn't have been that big of a deal because the guy behind the counter wasn't as rude as can be. He didn't five any eye contact nor did he say hello or even smile. On top of that, who in the world is not allowed to put cream in a pour over coffee?? So my friend had to get an Americano because she wanted milk with sweetener but when she tasted it, she said it was super bitter and tasted like dirt. I was hoping the coffee would make up for the service but it did the opposite. $30 for 4 drinks is absolutely crazy. And they say starbucks is expensive but i much prefer good tasting drinks for that much money. I always try to go to small businesses but I would never spend another dime here.

Amazing coffee house in a small coastal community. The beach and a high quality coffee house are all I need on a weekend. Galveston doesn’t even have a place like this. Great espresso and drip coffee and fresh pastries too. I’m simple and just go with their Americano. Tea, Beer, and wine too

Best coffee on the island! They take their slow-pour seriously. Roast their own beans. It's delicious! 👌

Interesting to say the least and a different take on how to order. It was our first time to visit and I was surprised that the customer enters their own order on an iPad which lends to a looong line. We ordered pastries from the case which were really good but again if you want it warm you have to put them in a microwave. So needless to say I was a little confused as to what the girls position was other than answering questions and helping with your order.
Your coffee size is one size only of about a 10-12 oz cup starting at $5 any add ons increase the price. But he your out in the boondocks of Galveston so you’re at a disadvantage already.
By the way the one person making coffee had no real customer service. When my wife asked nicely if he could scoop the foam from the coffee it was like an insult to his latte art. Then proceeded to school her on what a flat white is. By the way a little food for thought. The difference between a flat white and no foam is about $2 most places.
Anyway one and done for Pariah coffee.
