Back up off the highway just a little bit but easy to find. After seeing the onion strings in the pictures, we decided to start with those. At first, when they arrived, i was a little disappointed because they were not onion "strings," but regular cut onion rings. My disappointment quickly disappeared. They are still thinner than most most and still crispy and the batter had a really good seasoning. Absolutely wonderful. I have the wings (dry) and fries. The wings were good and the fries were enjoyable. Diame had the MarGee pizza. Basil pesto and garlic paste based with chicken, mozzarella and tomatoes. The taste was really good, with just the right amount of both the pesto and garlic. The only issue was that the crust became soggy and not crispy enough. Overall it was enjoyable and we would try it again. Abby (our server) was helpful and friendly. Recommended two thumbs-up.

This place is amazing. If you are into unique twists on food this is the place for you. Cafe 257 is about 2 hrs from our house, but we WILL be back. You are definitely missing out of you don't try it. The staff and the owner are amazing. A must try!!!!!!

The website said they were open but they were not. We have been there 4 times and only one of the four times were they open. The interior decor is nice and the food was good the one time we ate there. However we won’t go back again because of the lack of dependability.

My husband and I are huge foodies and love exploring hidden gems. I must say Cafe 257 is truly a gem. It was so hard to decide what to try because everything sounded delicious. We ended up ordering phat fries, chicken alfredo flatbread, bang bang shrimp tacos, and the yeehaw burger. I can't emphasize enough the eruption of flavors in every dish. Every part of our experience had a sense of personal pride and care put into it. Service was phenomenal. The owner chatted with us for a while and you could just hear the passion in her voice. Hands down best food we've had in a LONG time. We will gladly make the 2.5hr drive again in the future to eat here!
