Grossly over priced. I ordered a bowl of menudo and 2 barbacoa tacos and Dr. Pepper, my bill was $30 and some change. Are you kidding me. For menudo? When I said something about it to the waitress, she just laughed and said, “Yeah, our menudo is $17.95 a bowl.”
So two tacos and a drink were $12. Never again..

My husband and I stopped in for our first visit to El Charrito for breakfast. The food was delicious and a very large portion and the service was great and welcoming! We will definitely go back! The menu for lunch and dinner also looks really yummy!

Our first time was a success! We were a bit concerned because the Mexican place down the street was crowded and El Charrito was empty, but the other had a lower rating so we chanced it and are so glad. The service was spot on, the fajita nachos were delicious and the portion was so large, we split an order for lunch and could not finish it. So we saved money and ate well! Great job y'all! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

El Charrito is our absolute favorite breakfast stop. The mexican potatoes are highly addictive!
Ask for the green sauce if you like spice! Otherwise try the red, which is still respectfully warm!

Great little hole in the wall type Mexican restaurant. We had breakfast there, and it reminded me of the Mexican breakfast we get in the San Antonio & San Marcos area. I grew up near Jasper, and this is by far the best Mexican food I’ve had in the area. I definitely recommend it.
Great service and quick. This is our go to place for breakfast. Love the American breakfast and the Mexican breakfast. My husband usually gets the chorizo breakfast tacos with hash browns , I usually get the sausage breakfast tacos with potatoes, and we share a hotcake. Eventually we will make it for lunch…which I am looking forward to!

We love the breakfast!“Sherrie Westbrook” It really rubs me wrong when ppl go straight to a review when they are not happy. This effects ppls livelihood and business in a small town. I’ve had poor service I try to weigh the situation. This lady has posted 4 other reviews outside of this one and all but one was less than a 2 star. Some ppl just cannot be pleased!You guys keep up the good service and food. “I tried responding to her review but it wouldn’t let me.”
