I have never been to a Mexican restaurant that charged $2.50 to put queso on top of tamales just about a scoop bowl was all it took but yet they charged me $2.50 for it because I did not want the chili sauce on them that’s ridiculous and then the lady says oh well queso was gone up not that much. If I ever eat there again, I’ll never order tamales again That’s for sure and I will not order queso either now if it’s that damn expensive!!!!!

Plus, the food has gone down in product flavor. Everything the food has gone down bad I will never never never eat at this restaurant again.

I had the tamales (take out) they were very good ok update I've been doing a lot of eating here now and I still have had no bad experience I really enjoy the staff their pleasant friendly and efficient and they even put up with me being silly thank you everyone

The fajita meat was very tender. I had about given up on fajitas from other restaurants due to being tough. The chips and salsa was some of the best I have had in a long time. The waitstaff were all extremely helpful and attentive. It’s pronounced “Marteens”

I may be bias, I'm from San Antonio to South of Houston to here. Mexican food in general sucks in Jasper and Lufkin.

Husband and I eat here at least once when we are in this area at our vacation home. The food is excellent, service and staff are fast, friendly and helpful. Atmosphere is very pleasant and quiet. Martin's is a must to visit when in the Jasper area.

I have driven by a full parking lot several times and stopped to eat today. Very good! Friendly service and good tex-mex. Yummmm!

Excellent as usual. A little far to walk to a table for my elderly mom with a walker. There were tables available closer. And I did ask.

Nice casual restaurant with a sort of Mexican street festival vibe. Not modern or trendy, more comfortable relaxed dining with several booths. Staff is very friendly and efficient. No wait for Saturday lunch. Varied menu, some things you don't see often like spinach enchiladas. Enough variety you can find something to your liking, large or smaller versions available, with focus on fajitas and chicken. I had a small lunch bowl of mixed fajitas over rice and tasty queso sauce covering this served with three flour tortillas. Chips & salsa free.

Martin's offer a great blend of Tex-Mex with traditional Mexican flavors. Service is always exceptional

The waiter was nice but not very knowledgeable about the menu. And the food was very bland and had weird mushy texture.
