I took my mom to eat at MVPs for her 29th birthday (her choice). When we arrived the restaurant was very slow for a Sunday at noon after church. The restaurant was clean, the waitstaff was attentive but just a little slow for a slower day. It took our waiter a long time to come back with refills and ur ticket etc. He was very friendly. I had the Southwest chicken which was really good. The rice was just a little too salty. My mom had the steak kbobs and she said they were very good. Overall it was a good experience.

I brought my service dog in there today and was not treated with respect at first. They first told me that I could not bring a dog into the establishment. When I told the hostess that he was a service dog and that he was allowed she was hesitant on seating us.After many encounters with different waitstaff and then finally the manager, my experience was already ruined. I believe that the waitstaff needs to be properly trained about how to treat customers with service animals. I will be calling the owner as soon as the New Year holiday has passed.

Nice little place to catch a game if you're camping. Food was realy good. Engoyed he spicy chicken sandwich and the spicy cheese poppers were excellent.
SUUUPER disappointed.Menus and table were dirty.Server didn’t have any clue about bar availabilities. She didnt tell us any food or drink specialties that were available.What was ordered turned out wasn’t available. So got a different beer served in a hot glass that was leaky?The bar didnt have anything that my out of town guest wanted to drink. If they did, our server wasn’t able to tell her what was actually available.Food was soggy & cold. Ordered an appetizer and entrée, which all came out at the same time.Why? Why would a patron want to order an appetizer if they can’t eat it before their meal arrives? Ordered extra dipping sauces when placing order and extra side of mayo which either never came and had to ask for multiple times.Guess what the fried pickles and french fries cold. ? Literally, barely lukewarm. Same for the entrees. How did they JUST cook food that just came out of the kitchen and it’s already cold????Ordered a cheesesteak which was supposed to come with caramelized onions, asked for a side of mayo ( again which I never got bc I wasn’t going to ask clearly, the server had no interest in even writing it down so that she would remember) the onions were barely even cooked much less caramelized. There was literally more cheese on the cheeseSTEAK than meat. Which again was cold ???? How do you melt cheese and bring the sandwich to the table in the time that it gets cold???! Super disappointed I paid $13 for a toasted baguette and cheese. Also ordered the wings. They barely had any sauce on them. Server didn’t ask If I wanted bread or fried, so they came out naked. were greasy- not saucy the extra sauces had to be asked for a second time as well... No side plates for bones, no extra napkins for fingers nowhere to set your clean silverware after you wrap it from your fabric napkin, all had to be requested from our server who literally huffed under her breath, and anytime we ask for anything.My guest ordered the chicken bacon ranch wrap, which was so soggy and messy She could barely even eat at all. And our server could care less. Never checked on us after the food arrived, no manager stoped by to see how things were. No bag to carry the multiple boxes out.After printing out our check, Our server left us sitting for an extra 10 MINUTES with empty drinks and cold food while she did whatever she was doing in the back. We eventually got tired I’ve seen everybody else be served around us, I had to go ask the bartender to do my check so we could leave. Once our server did arrive there was no apology for the delay or anything.Ive worked in the food service industry for many years. I’ve worked every part of a restaurant, and this is got to be the most disappointed experience I’ve ever had in Jasper. It really does show when people take pride in what they do and there was none of that.I will not be back.
