So today there were three of us, I'll break it down. 1 pulled pork sandwich, she said it was alright just not much flavor and no smoke at all. 2nd was a rib plate. It was outstanding clean bones all around. I got the three meat plate, as it was the first-time there I wanted to try a few items. Brisket was moist and just falling apart. Good seasoning maybe a little to fatty. Again the ribs perfect. The turkey was moist, good smoke, but heavily peppered and not much else. The sides were typical fair nothing to hype about. Friendly staff. For the three of us it was just over $80. So pricing was on par maybe alittle cheaper than other places. I would go back for the ribs and maybe a chopped beef sandwich.

Craving some barbecue I stopped in and ordered a chopped beef sandwich. When I saw the man scoop some mush out of a pan with an ice cream scoop, I knew this wasn't going to be good. It was terrible.

We LOVE this place. We have changed the way we travel to visit my family in Mississippi just so we can eat at Smitty’s. Sliced and chopped brisket amazing! Ribs are falling off the bones. Sides are fabulous!!

Walk in- it smells like heaven. The ladies were quick and helpful with a smile. The Cowboy Pie yum! with jalapeño and sour cream, yes please! Cherry Cobbler very tasty!

Man I’ve been driving past this place for years and never knew what I was missing! Just stopped for the second time and it’s 🔥 TX BBQ. Quick friendly service and great food! Don’t forget to grab some jarred jams and a glass DP while you’re in there!
The two girls that took order and took payment were rude didn't listen and not at all apologetic for there adutude. I asked for a drink when we were checking out and was ignored. I ordered stuffed potato I asked for it to just actually be loaded and before you say anything I'm not cheap ill gladly pay for extra and tip for amazing service. The potato lacked any seasoning hardly had any BBQ sause on it didn't get that so couldn't even eat it because I couldn't mask bland flavor.wife got two meat plate she said wasn't impressed with flavored couldn't even finish hardly any of her plate. Friend that was with us didn't even want to finish her plate. My suggestion is just go to hamburger depot and spend the money or anywhere else. This place dosnt care enough about there customer or customer service to have you spend your money here second time here because thought first time a fluke but nope still bad food still rude staff give it 2 stars at best because building is cute and well set up.
