Though hot to the touch on the outside, they arrived undercooked within—frozen in the middle, as if the oil had not reached proper frying temperature. For a brand that prides itself on consistency, this was a misstep.
Cleanliness beyond the restroom was another area for improvement. While the surfaces appeared freshly wiped, the corners, floors, and less obvious areas betrayed the need for a deeper scrub. Very friendly staff, just confirm your order is correct, I ordered a vanilla shake and confirmed 3 times that it was vanilla only to get home and have chocolate in the bottom of my shake

It appears they have gotten better with their food. Upon the new management the service is quick but the food is in fact hot and ready to go. Now it's been like this long enough to trust it'll happen again so I can confidently say it would now be worth the drive

Slowest Whataburger I have ever been to... Tried to eat here 3 years ago and sat in drive thru so long we had to just leave. Have tried several times and always the same thing. Tried again this morning and sat in the drive thru long enough to watch the landscape guys trim several bushes and clean up all the mess before my food was ready. None of the other Whataburgers in either Woodville or Lufkin take near as long as this place. Don't go here if your in a hurry and want fast food...
