Just like everything in Jefferson, you're surrounded by history here. Beautiful old building with an old fashioned bar. The food was absolutely delicious, highly recommend the catfish!
We loved this bar, the food was well made. I had 3 pork tacos, my husband had the grilled cheese and bacon w/ fries. Really enjoyed the Saddlers IPA, it was on tap. The Bartender was so nice to talk to and was very prompt with refills. I have to state that this was later in the evening and there weren't that many people at that time. But I am sure they are always giving good customer service.
Great little place with good food and a great atmosphere. Portion sizes for main entries are huge so you get what you pay for. Food's hot and tasty, usually. Unfortunately when we were there, a cook quit mid shift so we waited a while longer than expected for our food, and one of the members of our group recieved his steak room temperatures and damn near raw when he had asked for it cooked medium rare. We sent it back and didn't have to pay for it, thankfully. Everyone...
