OUTSTANDING!!! We fell in love with this gorgeous home that we spent the weekend at! The proprietors went ABOVE AND BEYOND extending hospitality like we've never experienced before! The breakfast was fantastic, and don't even get me started on the delectable bisquits!! YUM! The rooms are just exquisite with an old fashioned tub for bubble baths! We would definitely stay here again!

We have stayed at the Black Swan several times and it has become one of our favorite weekend getaways. Darrell and Christi are amazing and make you feel like you’re part of the family. The food is beyond comparison and the rooms are always very clean and beautiful. We have stayed at a few other bed and breakfast in the area when the Black Swan was booked and I promise the attention, care, and room conditions were not the same. We will only stay at the Black Swan.

We can't go anywhere else as we've grown biased to the warmth of the house and hosts, Darrell and Christi. Christi's breakfasts and happy hours snacks are so wonderful while Darrell provides friendly service and is always available for anything needed. They both always have a smile on their faces, truly make you feel at home, and are the icing on the cake of the beautiful, clean, maintained, unique home. I can promise that after one stay, you will be hooked!! It has become my home away from home and "Happy Place" that allows me to rest, relax, detach from everyday life and just "be".

This place is absolutely AMAZING, from the owners who take care of your every need to the stay itself. The entire place is very lovely. Hands down one of the BEST breakfasts I've ever had. I cannot wait to go back & stay here again. Darrell & Christi make you feel like you are right at home. This place is so relaxing and they even provide a tea & wine tasting each night for you. They have snacks & beverages available to you at all times. This is a hidden gem. If you are going to Jefferson this is the place to stay!
Darrell and Christi were the perfect host! They not only helped us with our luggage but gave us lots of history on the town! The breakfast was to die for and the snacks were also wonderful! The happy hour was also great, can’t wait to go again!
