Can't beat the location for exploring downtown historic Jefferson. We spent the night and though the room had a few blemishes it was a comfortable room and did the job expected of it. The wooden floors were a treat as well as the eight foot hallway outside. Forgot to take any photos inside or even outside except for the historical plaques for the building and country singer as well as a mural for him on the side. Street parking was fine and we had access to the car right outside through a side door. The rooms have keys while entrance after hours is with a key code. We experienced no problems and had a nice night.

I’m just really in a bind and after exhaustive drive was looking for a place to stay. I looked online and saw this location had outstanding reviews. I actually drove to the hotel on a Tuesday and after noticing that it looked to be closed, I called the phone number. The owner‘s mom, Miss Carter appreciated my dilemma and actually came to the hotel from her house to check me in. I could not have had a more welcome person to assist me in my hour of need. The rooms are not only very tastefully decorated, they are immaculate and very clean. I am a real stickler when it comes to overnight accommodations and I must be honest this step back in time in this historic hotel, knocked it out of the ballpark. I cannot recommend it highly enough.

We went to Jefferson for a weekend getaway and got a room at the Kahn Hotel. It's a very authentic hotel with many of the original details. it's on Austin street right downtown, which makes everything walkable from the hotel. The staff were so friendly and professional and the coffee shop down stairs does a really good job. The nightly ghost tours start in front of the hotel. Highly recommend. If you're upstairs, as a heads up, there's no elevator and you won't sneak up on anyone as you take the stairs.

Rooms: Rooms are nice but consider this is an older building and they try to keep the older feeling. The have a great coffee shop. Lots of shopping in the town, a great small town charm with lots of ghost stories.
Nearby activities: Caddy lake lost of shops and food places.
Safety: Very safe town, we went walking every night.
Walkability: The town is awesome to walk, lost of shops and things to see.
Noteworthy details: This is a very haunted town so if you love ghost hunting check it out. They have a very nice ghost tour. This start right outside the hotel on Fridays and Saturdays.

Very nice, quiet and clean hotel. The room was the right size for two people. Kim is very friendly and welcoming. The toiletries were very nice quality. The paranormal activity was there, but on a low level. We enjoyed the experience and look forward to return in the near future.
This Hotel is awesome! Kim and the staff are very friendly and made the stay even better! Room are clean and comfortable! The history of this place is very interesting! As far as ghost we heard a few things but really was unsure but made it very fun! Loved our stay and will be coming back!
