Can't beat the location for exploring downtown historic Jefferson. We spent the night and though the room had a few blemishes it was a comfortable room and did the job expected of it. The wooden floors were a treat as well as the eight foot hallway outside.

I’m just really in a bind and after exhaustive drive was looking for a place to stay. I looked online and saw this location had outstanding reviews. I actually drove to the hotel on a Tuesday and after noticing that it looked to be closed, I called the phone number. The owner‘s mom, Miss Carter appreciated my dilemma and actually came to the hotel from her house to check me in. I could not have had a more welcome person to assist me in my hour of need. I made the call for a reservation and was warmly greeted and given simple elelectronic check-in instructions. The hotel has been modernized without taking away the historic charm.
It is great value for the price and the location is perfect!
Highly recommend!!
