We love going for Taco Tuesday, Thursday night has great music. They always allow us to bring our Labradors & sit on the patio. The service & food is always great.
Good food and nice atmosphere:
Edit: my family and used to love eating here but after recent experience I am lowering my rating. It took over two hours to get our food with no explanation or apology from the server. My wife had to find a manager to tell us that one of these cooks had called in sick. The manager was annoyed and short lipped with my wife for asking why we didn't have our food for an hour and a half. Our server let us all run out of drinks and we did not see him for almost an hour. They had seated in an uncovered area outside and the manager acted annoyed when we moved inside to get out of the rain. It is sad to see this place go down hill and the management seems not to care.

Extremely bad service we waited on our food for 2 and a half hours and during that time our waiter never came to our table to ask if we needed more drinks or tell us why it was taking so long. We were sitting outside and 2 hours in we noticed that it was about to rain so we needed to move inside when we moved inside it seemed like the staff were mad at us for moving spots. Food was not even worth it if you think about going here DONT.

Came here for dinner bringing our family from out of town. The first red flag was the fact that our drink orders were all mixed up. They put a lime in my Weihenstephan instead of in the Dos Equis which ruined the flavor of my beer. After that it took 2 hrs to get our food. Then the food was cold. We had to go in to find the hostess to find out where our food was. Our waiter was no where to be found. We ran out of drinks about an hour and half in without anyone to order from. We wanted to give them a chance since it’s a small business but we definitely regret that. Highly recommended going anywhere else but here.

As always we had a wonderful evening at Knight Light. The food is consistently delicious. Always served in a reasonably timely manner, and exactly as we ordered. Add to that the great service by the servers, the pleasant conversations with the other patrons, and the affordable prices, it is one of the hidden wonders of Jefferson Texas. Located at 292 North Walnut Street a must experience for all who visit our little town. Grace and Bill Daddario

Good food, daily specials and a nice patio. Been here many times and I recommend the steak, pasta dishes and fried catfish. It gets really hot inside during the summer months due to very limited AC. Hot!

Such a neat atmosphere - think medieval decor and tapestries. Pretty extensive menu too and large portions. We started with the tater kegs and chicken & sausage gumbo - the gumbo was some of the best I've ever had. Then I dived into the St. Patty's Burger with Swiss cheese, bacon and sauerkraut. Fantastic and so different from your average burger! My boys loved the buffalo chicken sandwich and lemon-pepper chicken w/ mashed potatoes. Great service - our waitress was very personal and had great suggestions. Definitely worth the trip!
