This is the perfect combination of "soul" and "Mexican" food. (Between "" because it is a buffet). You get way more options than any other Hartz, you can get a caldo de pollo and you Cole slaw, Mac and cheese, your enchiladas, your green beans, your fried fish, your red beans, etc., like I said, Soul&Mexican combination food. On top of that the service is top, they treat everyone like family and make you feel like they're cooking for you....
I have always loved Chicken Livers but they have always been so hard to find in restaurants. Well, I lucked up and found Hartz Chicken Buffet. OMG - their Chicken livers are so fantastic. I always went through the drive thru to get them.....then one day our family went in and tried the buffet. What an excellent buffet. Everything was so hot, fresh. Everyone is so friendly. If I could give them 10 stars I would or even higher. Excellent place - great prices.
Dine-in & drive throughStaff is ALWAYS nice. The baked chicken is the best! Use a consistent recipe unlike other Harrz locations. I pass up other Hartz locations to get this Jones Rd location. The taste is much better than other locations. Nelli is always friendly and helpful. The extra drive time to get to this location? ALWAYS WORTH IT!!!
