Good views, nice decor. It's just a touristy place with nothing to offer except that. Only 1 bathroom that I could find, so a long wait. Wines we tasted were not good, and when we looked at buying a glass of one we thought we might like, it would have been $24/glass. We won't be back.

Great location with very fun ambiance, very knowledgeable staff ready to engage with the customer and help with any questions you have. Wines were good and pizza was delicious. I recommend taking the time to stop by and enjoy a tasting.

Blah....last of our three wine tastings. Least favorite. Took forever between tastings. Limited information given about the wine. Didnt even offer tastings, just came straight out a bottle with no offerings. Place wasn't busy so guess just don't care. As for the wine, average for the reason. Nothing to write home about or buy. If decent service, would be an average stop. Overall, I would recommend passing on.

Kyle was an awesome host during our tasting!

I wouldn’t call it great. Cheese charcuterie board was very low-quality stuff from H-E-B. The chocolate truffles seemed cheap and poor quality as well. I definitely felt like I overpaid for both of these two items. They didn’t have water turned on the day we were there so we couldn’t wash our hands and overall the place just doesn’t feel like a very high-quality place. We tried The flight of sweets just because there aren’t many wineries that carry sweet wines and those are pretty decent. That would be the only real highlight for us.

Have come here a few times. It is always as amazing as the first. The customer service is beyond amazing and the environment is mesmerizing. Great place to come enjoy wine, have a few snacks and take some photos. 290 wine castle is a Fredericksburg must do. We will continue to visit every time we are nearby.

This is one of the most unique places I've visited in a long time. The atmosphere was the best! The wine was great and the customer service was amazing.

A group of us did the Haunted Dungeon wine tasting, and it was so much fun! Very interactive and the hostess was amazing! Highly recommend!

Having visited many wineries in the past years, this is not the experience we were looking for. Tried the tasting, similarly priced as neighbouring wineries, but the wines were so so. Most of them not from the winery itself. Presentation was below expectations, presented in a flight without further details or story.
If you want to enjoy wine with friends without the typical wine experience then this place will suit you fine.

We had so much fun on the Haunted Dungeon experience! My favorite winery in the area. Always a good time and we’ve already started planning the next trip.

I surprised my gf with a Haunted Dungeon Wine tour and it did not disappoint! We had so much fun with the host and our little group touring through the Castle! The staff were so pleasant, the establishment is really cool and I definitely suggest drinking and eating on the patio afterwards. Great price point and worth every penny!

My husband and I were celebrating our wedding anniversary and decided to try out texas wineries. We were told by our wine host employee that the sangria slushy was self pour and told to help ourselves. When we walked over to the machine, there was also a sign that stated to self pour. Upon getting 3/4 of a small glass full, the male worker in this photo came up to me and angrily tried to snatch the wine out my hand stating we were not suppose to self pour. I explained we were directed by another worker and he rambled on about how she was wrong and kept trying to take it. This was extremely unprofessional and ruined our visit. I will never visit this place again and if you love good wine, you won’t find it here. This place is not upscale and the pictures do not appear the same in person. I love the wineries in Cali, Rome, Barcelona ect and didn’t expect texas wineries to have the same aesthetic but I was hoping for some southern charm, hospitality and respect. This entire encounter was nothing less than pitiful. I’ve had better times sampling wines at my local total wine store than this place…… and the women’s bathroom was disgusting. Negative stars is what this truly deserve. You’ve been warned……..
