The service was very attentive after I was handed over from the staff member who gave me my menu. I ordered the Texas plate (carne guisada and cheese enchilada) and received the food quickly and my iced tea minus the lime I asked for (the only ding) as it's not that uncommon in Texas to get lime with your tea. Hands down the best Mexican food I've eaten in years, if not ever. The white queso dip is fantastic. I got a super burrito, a shrimp enchilada, and a cup of Charro (cowboy) Beans. It was fantastic. I left so full it wasn't even funny. I will definitely be back.
I visited on a Sunday around noon, among the first customers, though the post-church crowd soon filled the place. The extensive menu offered many choices, making it tough to decide. The Mexican food was solid, but not outstanding, and made for a satisfying lunch. Service was friendly when ordering, but tapered off afterward—don’t expect a bill brought to your table; you’re supposed to pay at the checkout counter, so don’t wait around for it.
