The restaurant at Carter Creek Winery was perfect. Excellent service, beautiful outside dining, great food and wonderful experience all the way around.

Amazing everything! Great for kids, adults, gatherings, dates! We love coming here and drive an hour for the experience! We've never had bad food or a bad time. If you haven't been here... you're missing out! Let the kids play on the lawn while you enjoy a meal and a flight with your friends or family! The staff are amazing and friendly!

Its so beautiful out there lots of country. Its also very family friendly so there is a big area to let the kids run around and play while the parents enjoy there drinks. Also they had a live band playing over the weekend which was nice to have for after dinner to go hang out and listen too. Waiter was from a diffrent country his name was Daniel he was very sweet and he checked on us often to make sure we were doing great.

Great food and great service! They are always friendly here. Sitting outside is also a great option, especially if there is live music.

The food? Absolutely delicious. Every bite—from the fluffy pancakes to the perfectly seasoned eggs—tasted like it was made with care and quality ingredients. But what truly made this place stand out was the incredible service. Our server, Charlize went above and beyond, checking in at just the right moments, offering thoughtful suggestions, and making us feel like we were the most important table in the restaurant. It wasn’t just professional—it was personal.

It’s rare to find a spot where you feel so genuinely cared for while enjoying a fantastic meal. Whether you’re a local or just passing through, do yourself a favor and stop in. We’ll definitely be back!

We had the most wonderful experience at Old 290 Brewery & Restaurant at Carter Creek Vineyard Resort and Spa thanks in large part to our amazing server, Sam. From the moment we were seated, she made us feel genuinely welcomed and well taken care of.

Sam was not only attentive and friendly but also incredibly knowledgeable about the wines and beer. Every recommendation was spot-on, and you could tell she truly enjoys what she does. It made the entire dining experience feel personalized and elevated.

The pacing of the meal was perfect, and Sam checked in just the right amount—not too much, not too little. Their professionalism and warm demeanor added so much to our visit, So much so we had to ask for her again in the morning for brunch 😁

We will absolutely be back, and we hope to be seated in Sam’s section again! Thanks so much Sam we had a blast!

Absolutely wonderful customer service through the entire resort. Great food and great wine. Amazing spa massages by Jordan and team. Relaxing hot tub and pool. Everyone is so welcoming. No need to leave the resort. Just stay for the weekend and unwind.
