My wait-person, India, was wonderful! The food was slow to arrive, but was hot and tasty once it arrived! And India was sure to check on me numerous times during the wait.

Well me and my family decided to go on random adventure out to the hill country, this place we pasted up on the drive but as we can back through again we stop here for lunch and this place is so nostalgic like a hallmark movie, very cute for the Pinterest girlys and the hungry dads and there's a little bit for everyone, i order the loaded brisket baked potato so delicious and my mother got the brisket salad very fresh. In all the ambiance was beautiful

Our server Darien was great! Peach cobbler was delicious!

Stopped in for a late Saturday lunch with the family. Relatively slow. Seated quickly, staff was friendly and quick. Food arrived in timely manner. Brisket Nachos were terrible with fatty brisket trim without much edible meat. Turkey plate was bland and dry. Kids liked the Mac n cheese but wasn't a favorite of mine and the wifes. Paid our $100 and left 85% of the food on the table. Kids and I enjoyed the arcade.

We had lunch here. Everything we ate tasted great from the potato salad to the meat to the cobbler. Service a little slow. Good place to stop if you are in Johnson City. We didn't have any alcohol.

I went in with low expectations, since it was during the holidays and it's one of the closest restaurants to Johnson City's famous light display, over at PEC headquarters.

Instead, I was blown away! The staff were some of the friendliest people I've ever met, and the BBQ was truly excellent - the brisket had a great bark and an even better texture, and the sausages were fantastic.

I grew up in the Austin area, surrounded by some of the best BBQ restaurants in Texas, and I wouldn't hesitate to recommend this place.

Mikaela was an excellent server for put table tonight. She helped with a massive water spill, made me feel at home, and even joked with my kids.

AVOID THIS PLACE AT ALL COSTS!
WORST FOOD AND SERVICE EVER!
EVERYTHING WAS COLD AND HAD OBVIOUSLY BEEN PREMADE EARLIER IN THE WEEK AND LEFT OUT. THEN WE WERE OVERCHARGED FOR EVERYTHING AND WERENT ALLOWED TO SEE THE ITEMIZED RECEIPT UNTIL AFTER WE PAID!

I HAVE NO IDEA HOW THIS PLACE CAN STAY OPEN EXCEPT BY ONLY HAVING UNKNOWINGLY OUT OF TOWN CUSTOMERS WITH NO OPTIONS.

Good barbecue, giant messy burgers, and tasty fried pickles, with a run through the arcade room for giggles. Always a nice spot to lunch on our route between South TX and Metroplex.

My family and I visited on 12/20/25. We were welcomed promptly upon entering. We chose to be seated outside and got seated right away. Our server was Darien who was absolutely fantastic. Our food and drinks were outstanding! 10/10 recommend. My family and I will definitely be returning!

We came shortly after Christmas to see the lights and decided on eating here. We knew ahead of time that the menu was limited but everything that was on the menu sounded good. We ordered queso and chips which were promptly delivered to our table as if they had waiting in the back which seems accurate as the chips were stale and the queso was lukewarm at best. Our main courses were delivered about thirty seconds later as if they had been out waiting which again seems accurate. The turkey sandwich was the plainest, most undesirable sandwich you could possible make and the accompanying tomato soup tasted as if it had been sitting out for hours both in temperature and flavor. The BLT sandwich, while containing edible bacon, was so sad and disappointing as was the potato soup that tasted days old. The grilled cheese was something to be seen with mysterious black spots on the cheese which could have been gross pepper or burned bits of something unknown. It tasted like failure. We left hungry and sad, off to find dinner elsewhere. Zero stars.

Makaelah was very helpful in helping with food choices. Very quick and thoughtful service. This was a surprise stop and really enjoyed our lunch of BbQ Brisket and chicken pesto melt (amazing).

Cheyenne was extremely friendly and attentive. The restaurant was not serving food from 3pm-4pm due to prep for the night shift, so we just had a couple drinks while waiting to order. Karen was also attentive when it was time to order food. I do have to mention the fact that the bar was out of a lot of items, poor planning on the managers part but not the staffs fault they did the best they could considering.
