Service could be a little more attentive to customers. All waitstaff was huddled at cashregister gossiping . Otherwise, food was cooked to order and was good.

Rarely do I give a one star especially to small businesses because I know the effect of unfair one can have, but this place warranted it. So I took my dad out for breakfast. First off the tortilla are not homemade. No big deal, but I mean it's supposed to be a true Mexican restaurant. That's not a reason to give a please to lose a star. Now let's get to the food. My dad ordered a breakfast plate pork chops well done. They sent them out. Raw. No exaggeration raw. He sent it back and the sent out the carne guisada. Cold and meat tough. I am assuming the meat was tough because the microwave didn't heat it up all the way, but again nothing is fresh and what is fresh is raw. Now to my food I ordered the BBQ breakfast plate. Barbracoa, eggs, pataoe, beans. Potatoes tasted old and where a bit cool not the end of the world, but the barbracoa was crunchy and dry but cold again not fresh. I didn't send it back I ate it. Worst mistake I have made. I have been sick with food poisoning ever since. This is just un called for. I recommend going to a competitor this place will legit make you sick. Again I don't write one star reviews lightly on a small businesses but this place is not safe to eat at and if you do go just send it back if it don't taste or look right I am very upset about being this sick from food. CONSUMERS BEWARE!!!!!!!!

Love the service very pleasant people they greet you with proper manners and respect like they know you and their food is wonderful awesome and plentiful for the money that you pay I would recommend it to all the public if you like good food and good prices and good greetings you must try it 10 Stars not five

Ordered the special for 8.99 with drink. Got a large amount and it was delicious. Service was awesome got drinks and chips with in 1 minute of sitting down. Staff was friendly and fast with everything. I can't say enough good things about this place. Normally wouldn't share how good it was so it won't get packed but they deserve a 5 star for everything. Thank you too the restaurant for such a great experience.

Food is absolutely "DELICIOUS". The new owners are "super nice and their staff is kind. I will continue to go back time and time again!!!! YUMMY YUMMY ???

Homemade tortillas!! YumFood is so good. I had the Texas special WOW it was so good. Staff is so friendly and restaurant is very clean.

Very good experience! The place was bustling and the atmosphere was alive. The wait staff was on point and very quick to handle our table . The food I had the chicken enchilada plate and it was just the way I had anticipated my buddy had the caldo and was a bit disappointed the veggies were a bit raw. But all in all it was great and I do recommend

We went in today and as soon as me and my husband took a bite of the chips we realized they were cooked in old oil they tasted rancid when I told the waitress she said she was aware of the problem because we were the second table to complain, knowing this she still served us these chips I asked her If they were cooking the rest of the food with the same oil she said I don't know I'm just a waitress wich is fair enough so we left. Needless to say we won't be coming back to a restaurant that is aware of the old oil they are cooking in and continue to serve the food.

My husband and I moved to Poteet a year ago and we haven’t been blown away by any Mexican restaurant until now. Mi Mexico is sooooo yummy. My husbands only complaint was they forgot his bacon. The tacos were so flippin good though. Gasada, been, and potato were all excellent. On top of that so was the service and green sauce. Y’all aren’t the closest to our house , but I’ll happily drive the extra 30 minutes for my weekly taco!

They are waiting on their TABC license, but their sweet tea was on point. The chips were fresh and light and the hot sauce wasn't overwhelming. And the flour tortillas that came with my picadillo plate were excellent!!!

Service was polite and very fast. The food on the other hand not so great.. Rice and beans came out cold tortillas were hard and chicken fajitas were overcooked and drying.

I LOVE IT HERE!!! I’m in town to visit some of my family and friends so we decided to go eat. When I tell you the service here is AMAZING! The food had lots of flavor that was delicious.Not only that my waitress was so nice.And the little girl that helped the waitress was so nice and respectful to us. I have never seen some much respect from such a young teenager,I’m amazed by the restaurant it is now one of my favorite restaurants to go when i’m in town. 100% recommend going there!!!

They spoke little English. Had to repeat myself. The meat was not tender and the corn tortillas were too greasy.

This place use to have awesome homemade tortillas. I went the other morning. And I ordered tacos and the eggs tasted nasty. They served me expired eggs! And obviously the tortillas weren't homemade. They were rubbery! I knew I should've gone to Selly's!! Lmbo!! But the waitress was a sweetheart! Great customer service!

Nice quiet stop with great salsa, tacos, and plates. Parents were happy means it was a hood stop. Will definitely stop again when in town.
